Born the only daughter of a lion tamer and a trapeze artist, it is of little surprise that Rachael entered the world of showbiz at an early age.Although she enjoyed an extremely successful spell as a human cannonball, a near miss with an emigrating flock of budgies led to Rachael seeking a much safer occupation as a singer in a party band.
At times, still longing for her previous life, Rachael can be seen in her back garden putting her head into her cat’s mouth and trapezing across her washing line.The recent purchase of a tumble dryer by her partner is not a coincidence.
In late 2007, Rachael was spotted by a member of the band when she appeared in ‘Deal Or No Deal’ as lead fashion advisor to Noel Edmunds.Realising the immense challenges she faced in this role, she ditched the Freeman’s catalogue for the opportunity of joining Under Cover, where her vocal talent has shined through.
