Chris began drumming at the age of ten, building his first drum kit from cardboard boxes. After a couple of years of finding battered bits of cardboard drum kits littered around the house, the parents folded and bought his first real kit.

Spurred on by such enthusiastic parental support he decided to turn the family home into a permanent rehearsal studio for a series of bands, until the same enthusiastic parental support persuaded him to move to London to pursue a musical career and give their ears some recovery time!

Years later, including many gigs and recording sessions, Chris moved back down South continuing to play in successful function bands for 15 or so years.

Fellow drummers may be interested to know Chris is devoted to Premier drums and Zildjian cymbals..the rest of us can pretend that's interesting and back away slowly!...
